Meeting of the Ganderbal Press Association (GPA), scheduled for today, was duly convened and concluded with the participation of 20 members.
During the meeting, members deliberated upon concerns related to the functioning of the Vice President, Raja Syed. After due discussion, it was observed that the Vice President had remained largely inactive since the beginning and had not discharged his responsibilities satisfactorily.
Consequently, the members, including the President, unanimously resolved to place Raja Syed under suspension with immediate effect until further orders.
In order to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted functioning of the Association, it was further resolved that the charge and responsibilities of the Vice President shall be assigned to the General Secretary,Sabik Ali Sabik, in addition to his existing duties, until further orders.
